Exposing Racist Professors in ULB. The case of Teboh Glotilde.

  We need a world where we respect one another in each and every one unique identity. My name is Teboh Glotilde, a student at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgian by nationality, and Cameroonian by origin. I have been terribly victimized and subjected to series of horrible forms of discriminations by some professors in ULB. I believe the reason of their horrible attitude towards me is motivated by my skin colour and race which is an illegal factor and unacceptable. In 2017, I made a complaint against Professor Viviane Vanne for abusively harassing one through emails, and worsened by humiliating me in class and using racist slurs towards me in class. A commission was set to investigate my complaint headed by Prof. Andrea Rea. I presented the case on the 18th April 2017, and because my claims were justified and valid the commission refused passing decision till date which was due 30 days after hearing. Racism: Is it a Sensitive Subject or Not?

    Racism: Is it a Sensitive Subject or Not?   In this article, the argument is that, racism is not a sensitive subject. Racism is evil. It is horrible, a destiny destroyer. Racism cannot be tolerated or condoned as is not sensitive. People use the word sensitive to hold victims captives, and to get away with   horrible actions or attitudes. This paper is a descriptive narrative on what racism is and how it is been perpetrated based on the experienced of the author who has been victimized by professors in the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). This paper encourages people not to shy away when encounter with such horrible attitudes or actions of hate or discrimination motivated by race and skin colour, but to speak up. Racism/hate/discrimination is deeply rooted in our society because people stay quiet, people are compromised, they shy away as the term “sensitive” seems to have normalized racism.
